Road to Rio

With the Rio Olympics fast approaching, Year 2 enjoyed a morning experiencing different sports including boxing, rugby, basketball and football. It was a great fun and they all did amazingly well.

Ducklings Update

Today we discovered that some of the eggs had started to hatch! We kept a regular watch on them throughout the day and were delighted with the appearance of our first two ducklings.

Art Project

After completing our recent Arts Award project, the children from Starfish and Rainbow fish Classes were proud to share their achievements with the rest of the school this morning. We hope you had the opportunity to come along and see them this afternoon too.

Careers Afternoon

We have had a great Careers afternoon today.  It was so interesting to hear parents talk about their different jobs. We were visited by a vet, a paramedic, a Euro tunnel security officer, a financial advisor, a business manager, a musician and a paramedic.

Duck Eggs

There was a very exciting arrival today at school – seven duck eggs! We are going to be watching them very closely over the next two weeks and will keep you updated with what we discover. How exciting!

Planting Seeds

Today we planted some pea, spinach and cress seeds. We will be observing them over the coming weeks to see what the plants need to grow and how tall they get. We’ll keep you posted!

PCSO visit

This morning we had a visit from a local PCSO who talked to us about the role of the Police. We got to try on some of the uniform, sit in a police car and even turn on the flashing lights!

Seabrook Models

What a treat to come back to school after the Easter break to be greeted by such superb home learning models! The children have obviously worked incredibly hard during their time off to construct  both human and physical features found in Seabrook. I wonder if you can recognise any of them?
