Transistion Afternoon

This afternoon Year 1 children had the opportunity to work alongside the current children from Reception. This gives them time to get to know the children who will be in the new Starfish Class next year. Everyone managed to complete their challenge of building a bridge and even constructing a bucket to collect water.

Red Arrows

Despite the rain this afternoon, the whole school excitedly set off to watch the Red Arrows in their flight over nearby Folkestone. Unfortunately the air display had to be cancelled due to the weather, but we didn’t let that dampen our moods and still enjoyed the lovely walk.
