Number Snap

This week we have been learning to read and write numbers as words. The children really enjoyed playing a game of snap to match the words to the numbers.

European Languages Day

Salt dough baking

The Great Fire of London

We introduced this term’s topic learning today by recreating the Great Fire of London. First the children created a row of houses to resemble the streets of London back in 1666. Is there room on the broom?

Starfish Class have been learning a poem to recite with actions. They did such a great a job working collaboratively and using their loud, clear voices to speak to the class.

Starfish Class – by royal appointment!!

Starfish Class received a very exciting letter in the post today – from The Queen! Last term the class wrote letters to The Queen wishing her a happy 90th birthday and today the children were really excited to receive a thank you card and letter from her Lady-in-Waiting.

Welcome back

It was lovely to see so many eager faces of the new Starfish Class back at school today. The children were happy, excited and ready to face the challenge of our art days ahead.
