Food glorious food

After carefully watching our cress seeds grow, today we finally got to eat some in our delicious egg and cress sandwiches. The children prepared all of the filling themselves by peeling the shell from the egg, mashing it up with mayonnaise and then mixing in the homegrown cress. Next they buttered the bread and added the filling. Finally they got to eat them and from the looks on their faces they really quite enjoyed them!
